I receive a newsletter for moms on occasion and here’s a cute little story that was written for a little laughter. It is true, the author of the newsletter got if off of her friend’s blog and shared it with the rest of us.
One night a mom sent her son to bed.
5 minutes later…
Son: “mom”
Mom: “what?”
Son: “I’m thirsty. Can you bring me a glass of water?”
Mom: “No. You had your chance. Lights out.”
about 5 minutes later…
Son:Â “Mom”
Mom: “WHAT?”
Son:Â “I’m THIRSTY…can I have a glass of water?”
Mom: “I told you NO. If you ask again I’ll have to spank you.”
another 5 minutes later…
Son:Â “Mommmm”
Mom:Â “WHAT??!!”
Son:Â “When you come in to spank me, can you bring me a glass of water?”
Whether you spank or not, I thought you all would get a chuckle and maybe you experience this with your own kid(s) at night
