More new toys.

Awhile back I had mentioned to Brian that I thought we should get him a bike and then a trailer for Matthew so we could go on family bike rides. It’d be more fun than walking and something we can all do together, unlike when he goes rollerblading. He hasn’t gone rollerblading as much because he has to go before supper and then by the time he gets home, we’ve eaten and let the food settle, he’s too tired to go for a family walk and I do not like to rollerblade the same way he does. I’m slow and he’s fast. Anyways, I didn’t push the subject and just left it as a mere suggestion when Brian started sending me links for bikes he liked. He found some bike stores nearby that carried the different brands he was looking at. So, yesterday we all went to visit one in Holmen and found they were having a sale that was ending yesterday.

This is what we ordered and I should be picking it up later today after it is assembled:

(just the rack, not the vehicle) We also went to Target and got a bike helmet for Matthew and I’m going to check prices at the bike shop today for helmets for Brian and I.

We took Matthew out in the trailer last night to test it out, just walking. I took pictures but haven’t uploaded them yet. I will add them another time when I add pictures of Brian with his new bike.

I told him it is his father’s day/birthday/you’re one really lucky guy present
